There is Something For Everyone!
We are thankful to be able to say that we have been socializing with Missoula for 27 years and counting.
The Iron Horse's origin began in the train depot just North of the XXXX on Higgins.
We wanted to tie our name in with the railroad heritage, but also wanted it to be a
strong name that would signify our presence.
Thankfully, Grandpa Homer Phillips came to our aid. He suggested Iron Horse for
the fact that it is what the engine of a train use to be referred to as.
The engine is a workhorse and that is what we like to think of our establishment.
In 1997, we moved our establishment to our current building.
Tami Ursich founded the Iron Horse in 1991.
It had a humble beginning of just eight employees, but has now grown to employ just over ninety Missoulians.
One owner, several menus and even more employees have made our place feel like a giant family.
We are thankful to be able to say that we have been socializing with Missoula for 25 years and counting.
